Wine Region:Â Savoie, France
With a golden-yellow color, our Chardonnay expresses itself with a light floral first nose such as white flowers, then a succession of white fruits (apricots, peaches). On the palate, its mellowness and roundness expresses aromas of honey, acacia and hazelnut.
About the Winery
Philippe Chatillon, winemaker, was the manager of the estate of Pinte in Arbois (39, Jura) for 18 years.
When he returned to the Jura in January 2013, he decided to create his own domain. He finds in Passenans in Côtes du Jura, on a sunny hill, a vine of Savagnin. Then, next, Red-tailed Melon and Gamay. Further on, on a more calcareous soil, he buys old black Pinots and Chardonnay. The adventure begins with these 2 hectares.
