The “La Brigaldara” winery is located outside the village of San Floriano in the Valpolicella area to the north of the city of Verona in Northeastern Italy. It perches on a slope at the mouth of the Marano Valley, one of the four valleys which make up the “Classico” area of this well-known wine producing region. The winery activities are all carried out within the split level farmhouse which has been adapted for this use without altering the original architecture of the building. The upper level is used for receiving the grapes from the vineyards once they are harvested and is where the fermentation is carried out. The lower level however is used for the various processes for fining and maturing the wine and for storing the oak barrels. The winery is located in an idyllic setting surrounded by beautiful vineyards. It was built in such a way that it blends into the both the Brigaldara property, and the surrounding countryside.
