RAVENTOS i BLANC DE NIT 2016

Wine Region: Conca del Riu Anoia, Spain

Tasting Notes

Light citrus, red flowers, white fruit, and a touch of cassis. The clean, direct sensation of the nose changes radically in the mouth where it combines a smooth, voluminous and fruity texture with a pleasant freshness and fine bubbles. Driven by a very good balance, with low dosage.

About the Winery

The estate consists of 44 parcels (managed separately) representing about 300 hectares of vines planted mainly with native varieties such as Macabeu, Xarel-lo and Parellada. The soils, the deep Galera, consist of different layers of marine fossil sediments embedded in clay and silt with a limestone base. The climate is typically Mediterranean with mild winters and hot and dry summers, whose temperature fluctuations are tempered by the proximity of the sea. The annual production is about 800,000 bottles. The vine is cultivated biodynamically.
