Golden yellow with delicate green tints typical of the great Blanc de Blancs. Very fine bubbles. It is both mineral and floral with aromas of flowers and white fruits, apricot and Mirabelle plum. Very light notes of lemon, citrus fruits, crystallized quince and honey. Harmonious, complex and delicate with a great freshness. A crisp and well-structured champagne with a gentle silky finish.
Perfect also with seafood, especially scallops, oysters and also grilled fish, sushi, and crab dishes. Can be aged for up to 4 years.
About the Winery
Founded in Ay in 1584 Champagne Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne and has been owned by the Renaud Cointreau family since 1993. Continued excellence is ensured by Odilon de Varine, Gosset Cellar master.
