Wine Region: Tuscany, Italy
Grape: Sangiovese, Canaiolo.
This gorgeous winning Chianti Riserva is like a ruby gem in the glass. The wine has a magnificent bouquet of cherries, berries and floral tones of violets followed by a delicious hint of vanilla. The taste is pure Italian, round and has a beautiful body with notes of black fruit and vanilla from aging in French oak barrels. A long and balanced finish gives the wine a character worthy of note. A wine to savour!
