Tasting Notes

The cuvee Collection is a selection of almost pure Mourvedre (2% Grenache); full and rich, it reveals aromas of red fruits and licorice, as well as tannins certainly still young, but elegant. Let her age four or five years.

About the Winery

Family owned for 5 generations, the "CHATEAU STE ANNE" has always had a wine vocation. The estate was built in the XVI by the congregation of the Fathers of the Oratory who already cultivated the vineyard and the olive tree, they built vaulted stone cellars that still exist today. The vineyard has been restructured to meet the requirements of A.O.C. Bandol. A modern cellar has been leaned to the old, allowing to add in the winemaking as in the conduct of the vineyard modern methods with ancestral uses. Currently more than 35% of the production is exported to the EEC, U.S.A. and Japan. For a part remaining, many individuals come every year in the tasting cellar to follow the evolution and aging of wines and choose from the vintages still available.
