Fresh cherries on the nose and palate. Tannins are firm, medium body but little end palate. Quite dry and acidic. Easy drinking and fruity.
About the Winery
Philippe Chatillon, winemaker, was the manager of the estate of Pinte in Arbois (39, Jura) for 18 years.
When he returned to the Jura in January 2013, he decided to create his own domain. He finds in Passenans in Cotes du Jura, on a sunny hill, a vine of Savagnin. Then, next, Red-tailed Melon and Gamay. Further on, on a more calcareous soil, he buys old black Pinots and Chardonnay. The adventure begins with these 2 hectares.
