Wine Region: Fruili, Italy
Straw yellow in color, this wine has slightly aromatic hints of figs, citron, white flowers, green tea a twist of almonds and a touch of spice on the nose. Incredibly dry and fruity in the mouth, it has good acidity and an ending that recalls the fruity scents. Excellent with a shellfish sauce vierge with fried cod and sauted courgettes, scallop souffle, lemon sole with fennel, a crisp fried plaice or a savoury smoked chicken and chive omelette.
