About the Winery

The Château Gruaud Larose, the second largest cru classé in the Médoc since 1855, owes its name to the two families who created it and then occupied it in the 18th century. First Mr Gruaud, one of the greatest winegrowers Bordeaux in 1757, gathered several small vineyards to compose this wonderful estate, and Mr de Larose, his son-in-law, who brought his name to the estate.
