Tasting Notes

This is a tannic and racy red wine, with a dark ruby dress. It has some ripe fruits and woody aromas and it has a long and fresh aftertaste with hint of black fruits. Pairs perfectly with red meats and cheese.

About the Winery

Chateau La Lagune produces a 3rd Grand Cru Classe de Bordeaux whose blend brings together the emblematic grape varieties of the Medoc - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot - and offers, over the years, wines renowned for their balance, finesse and elegance. . In this same spirit of excellence, the property also produces a second wine, called 'Moulin de La Lagune', and since 2004, a third cuvee named 'Mademoiselle L'. Planted on one of the most perfect gravelly ridges of the region, the vineyard of La Lagune covers 80 hectares, where Caroline has been working for many years to implement an environmentally friendly viticulture, based on practices from organic and biodynamic farming.
