About the Winery
In total, the Domaines Paul Mas have more than 600 ha of vines, including 92 ha of organic vines, to which can be added 1,312 ha of vines belonging to partner wine-makers with whom we work under contract. Thus, we are made up of 40 different native and quality varieties and a wonderful diversity of Languedoc terroirs. Paul Mas wines are the result of a harmonious symbiosis of an extraordinary grape-producing region, a passion for the vine, respect for the grape during the wine-making process and talent for blending and wine-making; this is the Paul Mas style. Origins It was on the banks of the Hérault river, at the foot of Château Paul Mas, in Pézenas, that the legend of Vinus the Heron first began. Château Paul Mas is made up of two sites: the Château and a 25-ha vineyard in Conas, near Pézenas; the cellar, along with 80 ha of vines, is in Nicole, near to Montagnac
