Wine Region: Adelaide Hills, Australia

Grape: Fiano

Tasting Notes

Vibrancy comes from picking the fruit early in its flavor development and throwing some whole bunches in the ferment. While crunchy and bright it also has a touch of savouriness to finish off. It is the cool nights yet hot days that make Langhorne Creek such a good spot for this variety, and the free draining sandy loams that it is grown on make for a bright energetic fragrant wine.

About the Winery

The popularity of Sam Scott’s La Prova label is the result of a combination of innovation, awareness, site-selection, authenticity and value. These are Sam’s site and varietal trials, where he applies some modern and original methodology to what he’s learnt of how these Italian varieties are made at their origins.
