Water white with golden and green hints. Rich lime and tropical fruit with some musky, spicy notesMouth filling sweet lime cordial and lemon citrus balanced with clean acid finish

Ratings

James Halliday - A delicately fashioned riesling, with deliberately retained sweetness filling the mouth with lovely lime juice fruit flavours.

Tyson Stelzer - This is a pretty, medium-sweet style with zesty green apple, crisp lemon and pear flavours and honeyed residual sweetness. It's clean, well-balanced and enticingly priced. I only wish its medium-sweet style were more clearly announced rather than hidden in the back label.
About the Winery

Smallfry wines is a partnership in business and life between Suzi Hilder and Wayne Ahrens. We are viticulturists bitten by the winemaking bug, the chance to turn our own fruit into wine is too good to pass up. That we are also foodies drives our winemaking down a certain path. Natural ferments, nil to minimal adjustment, old oak a soft hand in the cellar allows the vineyard to speak. The style is food friendly, Euro style, with a eye to balance and subtlety.
