Artist Collective 2.0 Distilled At Ledaig 11 YO 2007

Made from a blend of three casks, this Ledaig does not hold in place. However, it is proudly anchored on the banks next to the Tobermory distillery. At first, it is with the enthusiasm and candor of a young foam that he takes us to discover its peaty, salty, ashen or floral scents. Then, quickly learning the lessons of life, it is with the experience of an old sea wolf that he invites us to explore the landscapes of a palette of flavours constantly located between land and sea. Small Batch – Bourbon Barrels Limited edition of 1,785 bottles.

Fresh, the first one offers a peat that is salty, liquorice and ashy at the same time. With aeration, it develops on citrus fruits (lemon), heady flowers (violet), malted barley and ripe fruits (pear). Balanced, the attack on the palate is milky (coconut) and gourmet (Tropezian). As time goes by, peat becomes more and more present and medicinal. Firmly, the finish oscillates between a barley field and a seafood platter.

Distillery Profile:
In the same way, each of the single malts found in our new Artist Collective range draws the richness of their olfactory and gustatory palettes from the marriage of various casks. Devoted to diversity, every region and every style of Scottish single malt, peated and unpeated, are represented.

Within this range we also find 43%, 48%, 57.1% (100 proof) and cask-strength bottlings. To illustrate the labels of the seven bottlings in our second collection, La Maison du Whisky has called on contemporary artists from very different backgrounds. Each of them brings their own very personal touch that echoes the richness of the single malts selected!
