Winery Profile:
Chateau Canon, located on the top of the Saint Emilion limestone plateau in view of the village started out life as a part of the Clos St. Martin vineyard in the 1700’s.

In 1760, when the Saint Emilion vineyard was much smaller than it is today at 13 hectares. Château Canon was gradually brought into the 21st century after its acquisition in 1996 by the CHANEL Company. It took twenty years to restructure the vineyards, reinforce the underground galleries and return this 1er Grand Cru Classé to its former glory. Today, the property has reclaimed its original
luster.
