Very deep purple. Complex, with aromas of spices, white pepper, cinnamon and figs. Notes of scrubland and red berries, blackberry. Tannic structure, fine and elegant, melted. Food and wine pairing: Serve at 17° C, with grilled red meats (rib-beef ribs), stews, lamb Larzac, pot au feu des hautes, and sheep’s cheese.

Another vast range of wines by Jean-Claude Mas, from the Paul Mas family, who is often described as a pioneer from the New Languedoc, and with a determination of providing wines that are delicious and accessible, magnificently charming which embody Jean-Claude’s philosophy of le luxe rural, or rural, everyday luxury wines. 20% of the vineyards are farmed organically, and the rest is planted using sustainable practices, certified under Terra Vitis.
