Winery Profile:
Located in Magny les Villers, a small village between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune. This village benefits from an exceptional geographical location in the heart of the Côte D’Or, between the world-famous Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune.
The Domaine was founded over forty years ago by Claude who had worked in Romanee Conti. Now his son Alexandre Cornu is leading the winery. The vineyard practices are predominantly organic or “Lutte Raisonee” practices (organic in principle just without formal certification) and produce vibrant fruit of high quality and low yields. In the winery, wild yeasts are used, and all reds are 100% destemmed with a mixture of barrel ageing and maturation in French oak for 18 months, depending on the Cuvée.
