Ferngrove The Stirling Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 2008

$78.00 $62.00

The Stirlings epitomises excellence in fruit quality and varietal expression. Barrel selected, pure class – but only produced in the best vintages! It is always the ultimate regional expression of a particular vintage so the varieties may vary but the result is a full-flavoured yet elegant wine with great cellaring potential. Mouth coating and intense, a wine of texture, purity of fruit and long crafted tannin.

Winery Profile:
Founded in 1998, producing from 100% estate-grown grapes, Ferngrove became famous for their Cossack Riesling. Western Australian ancient soils, combined with the cooling influence of the oceans, provide the time required for the grapes to ripen slowly to achieve physiological ripeness.

Ferngrove Wines, in Frankland River, is one of the world’s most isolated wine estates. While this isolation makes the logistics of winemaking tough, it is also what makes Ferngrove wines distinctly different. Proudly Australian-run with the benefits of international ownership, Ferngrove has a deep respect for the land, and is committed to crafting exceptional wines of Western Australia.

Region: Frankland River, Australia
