Founded in 1987 in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, Barcelona, led by fourth-generation winemaker Mr Francisco Domínguez. The Mercat Cava spent minimum 18 months ageing its lees and finished with a very low dosage, allowing the chalky soils on which the old indigenous vines are grown, to shine through on the palate. Mercat is a tribute to Catalan where locals and tourists alike gather to eat, shop and chat.
