The family-owned winery Pala was found in 1950 amongst the rolling, vine-covered hills of Sardegna. The winery practises organic farming in the vineyard and does not use chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Pala was named the Emerging Winery of the Year 2014 by the Gambero Rosso (the significant and most famous Italian Wine Guide) and is the most awarded Sardinian wine producer. The winery cultivates traditional Sardinian grapes, from Vermentino to Nuragus, from Cannonau to Carignano.
