A splendid terroir steep; the best grape varieties are planted, adapted sector by sector, to obtain the quintessence of this terraced vineyard. This vineyard is located in Pinhao, 130 km from Porto, in the hinterland, one of the most favorable areas of the Douro Valley. The grape varieties are numerous: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cao, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Francisca, Sousao. Here, maturity and sweetness reach rates unmatched anywhere in the country. Some vintages of this area reach peaks at auction, including the most famous cuvee of the field: “Nacional Vintage”.
