Wine Region: Adelaide Hills, Australia
Grape: Pinot Noir
Organically grown, a light bodied Pinot Noir, this will please those with a taste for elegance as well as a defined character. Bright cherry and plum aromas along with mushroomy undertones, a bright hue and pleasant, moderate acidity. All the earthiness and finesse you should expect from a pinot noir. Pairs well with duck and lamb dishes!
About the Winery
Mary and Phillip Broderick are the owners of this long-standing, but small and little-known winery. It's bigger than a hobby, with the wines available for sale, a Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Petit Verdot tracking the 4ha plantings of these varieties. The newer plantings of 4 hectaresc of clones 777 and MV6 pinot noir are another very different take on his production.
