Grape: Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc
A pale yellow color with greenish hues, the Châteauneuf-du-Pape white 2016 castle La Nerthe develops a first delicate nose with aromas of flowers and notes of elderberry. The bouquet unveils with aeration a greater extent with citrus and almond milk fragrances. It is fresh on the palate before showing more roundness, with tasty touches of ripe yellow lemons and pink grapefruit. The finish perfectly combines length, freshness, elegance and delicacy. A wine of great purity.
About the Winery
Here is one of the 3 largest properties of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation with its 92 hectares of vines. Very old vineyard, the first archives of Château la Nerthe date back to the 16th century when the estate was named the Ferme du Beauvenir. His name today echoes one of the members of the family who bought it in the 16th century and who was none other than a prior living on the Nerthe Massif.
