Wine Region: Bordeaux Superieur, France
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot
Still young and fruity, this is a bright, crisp wine packed with red berry fruit flavors. A smoky character underlies the fruit, allowing some toast and spice to come through.
About the Winery
"Château Mazetier is a family farm, on which we work together with my wife and myself. By choice as well economic as ethical, because we wish to control all the stages (from the installation of our vineyard until the marketing of our wines), and this in a qualitative and environmental step. We practice natural grassing on our vineyard, which allows to increase the biological life of the soil, to limit erosion and the transfer of treatment product. We work in sustainable agriculture in order to minimize the use of phytosanitary products. We operate 15 hectares in the town of Saint André du Bois on the hills overlooking the Garonne valley."
