This wine provides a fruity aroma with spice and black fruits. Elegant, dark fruits on a lightweight palate with tannins lead to a nice persistence in the mouth. Easy to drink and smooth.
About the Winery
The Cru Bourgeois Patache d'Aux is one of the vineyards operated by the Domaines Lapalu in Médoc and Haut-Médoc, with Lieujean, Leboscq, Liversan and Lacombe-Noillac. There are traces of the Knights of Aux Medoc in 1632. They had a renowned vineyard where stagecoach that crossed the region. Locally called pataches, these diligences crossed the centuries and gave its name to the place. Today we find these pataches on the label of the bottles of the estate.
