James Suckling - 92 pts : "A juicy and rich wine with dried berry, shaved chocolate and hints of tea. Full body, firm tannins and a flavorful finish. Some lemon rind undertones. Drink now."
The Wine Advocate - 92 pts : " Decero produce some of the best Petit Verdot in Argentina, and they are capable of convincing the skeptics with examples like the 2012 Remolinos Vineyard Mini Ediciones Petit Verdot that does not show the aggressiveness often associated with the grape. There is perfect ripeness here, no excess and no charred or toasted sensations either from the grape or the élevage (which is always pristine at this address). Polished tannins, very good balance and a sleek palate, the house signature is also applied to this finicky Bordeaux grape."

As the name suggests, Mini Ediciones are highly limited parcels of wine which we regard as small gems. From lesser known varieties, these wines are wholly expressive of our Remolinos Vineyard and represent an opportunity to taste a variety rarely seen in a pure form. Petit Verdot plays a small yet important role in our Decero Amano. In 2006, in recognition of its unique potential from the coarse, low vigour soils of our Remolinos Vineyard, we selected a few exceptional barrels of wine to make a well deserved Decero Mini Ediciones Petit Verdot. The inaugural 2006 Decero Mini Ediciones Petit Verdot was awarded 93 Points by The Wine Advocate, a worthy achievement for a humble yet world class wine. The 2012 vintage is particularly rich in wild blueberry flavors, quince and the jasmine aromas which are characteristic of this wine. It shows great complexity and tannin structure for extensive ageing potential. Vintage in image may vary.
