Wine Region: Beaune, Burgundy, France
Grapes: Pinot Noir
These wines tend to be fiery and full of force early in their maturation and, with age, offer lots of perfume, succulence and a rich bouquet. Savigny-les-Beaune wines, to quote a saying written on the facade of one of the village's wine houses, "are generous, spiritual and wholesome". Perfect accompaniment for all types of poultry, white meat dishes and gourmet cuisine.
About the Winery
"Our estate is located in the town of Echevronne, charming village of Hautes Cotes de Beaune. Our farm comes from a family estate. After a year of oenology at the Faculty of Dijon, Pierre CORNU settles on the vineyard of his parents.
In 1981, he married Bernadette Camus, a winemaker and also from a winemaking family in Savigny-Les-Beaune. Today our estate covers 12 hectares of vineyards. Throughout the year, the work of the vineyard is done with great care to obtain the best wine."
