Wine Region: Burgundy, France
Grape: Pinot Noir
Beautiful dense and purple colour with garnet tints. The nose is spicy and express some notes of dark fruits as blackcurrant and blueberry. On the palate the wine full body, rich and deep. Tannins are very fine and silky. This wine will require time before reveal its full potential but already develops a long aftertaste. The Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru "Les 8 Ouvrees" 2011 will perfectly go with meats in sauce like beef bourguignon or coq au vin, red meat like prime cut of beef, leg of lamb, as well as strong cheese.
