Wine Region: Wachenheim, Germany
Clear, pure and subtly intense in its lemony fruit, which reminds me of a dash of lemon juice on herbs grown on warm, flinty sandstone soil. Full-bodied, round and elegant, with a delicate and ripe acidity, this is a very elegant, powerful and juicy wine. There is a lingering fruit intensity and power, but also stimulating purity and salinity from the sandstone soils. The wine reveals a lovely grip in the finish and displays mango flavors in the aftertaste.
