It’s about time we’re all jumping on the environmentally conscious band wagon! If you’re supporting the earth friendly and organic movement, why not start with your wine cellar? There’s no skimping on quality in these wines, and you’ll be able to feel good about where they’re coming from. Up for tasting:
DOMAINE DE CHATILLON VINE DE SAVOIE CHARDONNAY 2016, France (Organic)
URLAR SAUVIGNON BLANC 2014, New Zealand (Organic, Sustainable)
SMALLFRY SCHLIEBS GARDEN 2015, Australia (Organic, Sustainable, Biodynamic, Vegan)
SPERI VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE VIGNETO SANT’URBANO 2014, Italy (Organic, Sustainable)
PODERI CRISCI SYARH 2015, New Zealand (Sustainable)
In addition to tasting great wines, we’ll also talk about what makes a wine organic, what in the world does biodynamic mean, and why aren’t all wines considered vegan(?). Our wine tastings are fun and casual, so no boring classroom style here. We’ll also be providing some light cheeses, but we invite you to bring in your own food from one of the surrounding eateries. (May we suggest you bring your own take-away container if you’re inspired by our earth-friendly theme? Fish & Chips, Thai food and pizza are just some of the options!) As always, we’ll be offering special discounts to our tasters. Be sure to get your ticket early to reserve your seat!
