Wine Region: Champagne, France
Grape:Â Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
In the glass, 15 ans de Cave has a deep golden hue with extremely fine bubbles. Aromas of yellow fruit combine quickly with biscuit and sweet spices, developing into a complex, powerful and luxurious aromatic palate. The mouth seduces at first taste by the full, rich, fruity body. The exceptionally long finish ends with a typically house styled freshness.
Wine Spectator 93 -Â "Richly aromatic, this offers an intriguing, almost Sherry-like mix of salted almond, oyster shell, baked plum, singed orange peel and dried white cherry flavors framed by mouthwatering acidity. The soft bead imparts a quiet energy to the lasting finish. Try this vinous, oxidative style with roast halibut or other white-fleshed fish."
