Ratings

Australian Wine Companion - 94 pts : "Strong, deep colour; how much is the vintage is as yet not certain, but this is a delicious Barossa Valley shiraz hopefully pointing the direction for the future; the flavours are fully ripe and round, and it is the fruit, not the oak, that does the talking."

Wine Spectator - 91 pts: "Polished and expressive, offering a lithe silhouette of dark berry, fresh currant, coffee and muddled spices. The flavors expand and roll easily through the long finish. Drink now through 2020. ".

About the Winery
The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s. In 1891 they bought a parcel of land and in 1893 planted their first vines. Today, Kaesler Wines are made from these ancient, dry grown vineyards by the third owners of this magnificent property.
