Wine Region: Languedoc, France
The Estate Red displays intense purple with clear edges, followed by notes of violet and sweet liquorice, interwoven with ripe black fruit, spice and a hint of blueberry on the nose. The palate is full with layers of blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, velvety soft with floral notes, locked in with notes of leather, finishing with warm spice and lasting liquorice. An excellent full bodied red that definitely needs to breathe, 1-2 hours and will get even better with age. Best served with Lamb, Game and or strong cheeses
About the Winery :

Over the next 14 days the de-stemmed parcels of fruit are fermented and macerated intact, with Malolactic fermentation taking place 225Lt Oak barrels after pressing, followed by further aging for 6 months within 20% New American Oak Barrels, prior to bottling.
