Wine Region: Sicily, Italy
Grapes: Nero d'Avola
Nero d’Avola is the most important grape of Sicily, where the arid climate is perfect for this sun loving variety. This wine has an intense red colour with purple shades. Strong aromas of plum and black cherry are accompanied by subtle leafy notes. The palate is dense with dates, iron, black cherry and dark chocolate; almost black forest gateux richness. Really gorgeous, the soft ripe tannins allow the fruit to shine.

12 months in barrique followed by 4 months in bottle before release.
