Wine Region: Sicily, Italy
Grape: Nero d'Avola
Frappato comes from "fruity", characteristic quality of this Sicilian vine. This blend grows on sandy soils that give the wine a vibrant color, intriguing scents of small red fruits, persistence and delight. The color is ruby red with purple shades, the nose featuring aromas of marasca and cherry, notes of small red fruits and sweet spices. On the palate it is sapid, of good persistence.
