Deep dark red black tinged colour with dark crimson red hue. Subtle blackberry and liquorice aromas are overlaid by some charry oak with peppery end notes. Medium weight with a soft textural feel the palate has flavours of liquorice intermeshed with some charry oak and dried meats with subtle blackpepper on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins with subtle charry oak, liquorice, dried meats and light pepper aftertaste.

Warramate Wines is a small, independently owned vineyard in Victoriaâ€™s Yarra Valley. It was established in 1970 on a spectacular north-facing slope overlooking the central Yarra Valley.
