Anne Laure Sicard, an oenology graduate from Montpellier and a winemaker with global experience spanning Spain, Australia, and Argentina, established Mas Lasta in 2016. Nestled at 450m in the northernmost Terrasses du Larzac, the 9-hectare estate's name means "last vineyards" in Esperanto, reflecting its unique location.
The 45-year-old Grenache Noire and 20-year-old Syrah vines thrive on sandstone soils at 400m, cultivated biodynamically with lunar guidance and pruned in the traditional “Cordon de Royat” style. Mas Lasta’s wines embody the elegance and intensity of its high-altitude terroir, shaped by Anne Laure’s expertise and dedication to sustainable winemaking.
