Tentenublo

Tentenublo, spearheaded by Roberto Oliván, is a dynamic winery located in the Viñaspre hamlet of Rioja, Spain. Roberto, a prominent figure among the new generation of Rioja producers, manages under 10 hectares of family-owned and newly acquired vineyards. The vineyards, situated at high altitudes around 620 meters at the eastern end of the Sierra Cantabria mountains, benefit from calcareous marl and sandstone soils, known as replanos, which impart a unique character to the wines. Tentenublo's standout wine is a fresh, lively red, with a white counterpart made from Viura and Malvasía. Other notable wines include Xérico, a fruit-driven red honoring Roberto's grandfather, and the Escondite del Ardacho range, featuring small-batch, old-vine plots. This range includes Garnacha wines and a distinctive blend from ancient vines. The winery's meticulous approach, focusing on terroir and traditional methods with modern techniques, produces wines celebrated for their originality and quality.
