De Martino

Since 1934, four generations of our family have specialized in producing wines that stand out because of their sense of place, purity and balance. To that end, we farm sustainably and use traditional winemaking techniques in order to produce wines that represent us and faithfully reflect the vineyards they come from.

In the years since then, we have become leaders in innovation at De Martino and we have also scoured the country in search of sites that can showcase the potential of Chile’s many sites and terroirs.

We are proud to have been the first winery in Chile to put “Carmenere” on the label of a wine back in 1996. We also pioneered working in century-old vineyards in the Itata Valley, incorporating traditional winemaking techniques that set a precedent in the industry.
