VALENCISO

A single wine. A Rioja winery * Valenciso, founded in 1998 by Luis Valentin and Carmen Enciso, specializes in crafting a classically structured Reserva wine. Located in Ollauri, near Haro, their vineyards benefit from a cool, Atlantic-influenced climate at altitudes of 400-600m. They practice sustainable viticulture without irrigation or fining and use concrete tanks for vinification, prioritizing wine longevity and freshness. This commitment to quality has earned them respect among Rioja enthusiasts and wine critics, with praise for blending traditional and modern Rioja styles. Diego Santana Diego Santana is the Partner and Export Director at VALENCISO. He has been working and part of VALENCISO for 10 years, before he was the Marketing Director of CyT UK offices in Oxford. From an Economic background, he started to work in petrol for a year and then followed the passion of the wine industry.
