Black pepper and black cherry dance on the nose, accompanied by subtle hints of barnyard and a faint touch of burnt peanuts. 100% Grenache, the Dur A Cuir Rouge 2019 is extremely easy to drink, perfect as an aperitif or best to pair with foods that have smoky or charred flavors, like savoury, grilled meats, smokey BBQ sauces and even grilled veggies.

The Bordeaux wine from Château Caronne Ste Gemme 2018 is truly captivating, thanks to its blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. This family-owned estate boasts 45 hectares of vineyards, with 70% of the grapes lovingly harvested by hand. After undergoing a meticulous winemaking process, the wine gracefully matures in oak barrels for 15 months.

When it comes to enjoying this fine wine, timing is key. It is best tasted within its optimal age of 5-10 years. So be sure to plan your tasting accordingly to fully relish the combination of exquisite flavours and revel in the harmonious culmination of expertise at every stage of production, from grape to bottle. On the nose, aromas of black fruits, liquorice and oak intertwine, creating an enticing bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, the palate reveals flavours of blackcurrant, plum, and earthy notes, reflecting the rich terroir of St Laurent Médoc. The wine exhibits medium tannins and acidity, providing structure and balance.
